Level A2 – Elementary: Course Content
This course is tailored for learners who have a foundational understanding of Italian and want to expand their skills for everyday situations and conversations.
Key Objectives:
- Build on basic vocabulary with topics such as shopping, transportation, weather, hobbies, and daily routines.
- Develop the ability to handle simple interactions in common social and practical situations (e.g., ordering food, asking for directions, buying tickets).
- Understand and use frequently used expressions related to areas of immediate relevance.
- Strengthen grammar knowledge, including:
- Present continuous tense and simple past tense (passato prossimo).
- Introduction to reflexive verbs and their usage.
- Comparative and superlative adjectives.
- Pronouns (direct and indirect object pronouns).
- Improve listening comprehension with short dialogues and audio exercises.
- Practice writing short paragraphs (e.g., a postcard, email, or diary entry).
Teaching Methods:
- Role-playing and simulated scenarios to practice conversational skills.
- Exercises focused on reading comprehension with simple texts.
