I want to learn Italian. So Bite Me

Not so long ago, I picked up some self-help books on learning Italian. Mind you, those books weren’t cheap. And they were not much help either. I should have known better than to waste my time and effort. I also tried watching Italian shows, listened to Italian tongue-twisters at Youtube. Some people I know also gave sites where I am supposed to sign up and learn a foreign language. But none seemed to help. And I wonder what went wrong.

Until I encountered that which actually worked… Click here to get know what was it.
My Italian eventually improved. First noticeably, eventually, dramatically. The most important now is my love for the language and time. This means picking up materials and my pace in learning.

Despite my busy schedule, my language learning didn’t take a slow pace. I have been on my online classes, reading and listening to a lot of Italian. I am surely building up my confidence that means my speaking and writing is set to improve pretty well. I am more than ready to move on to the next stage.

At first, I started with my conversation like I was a 5 year old Italian girl. I want to learn Italian a lot. And to take my newly acquired language on a test drive, I went to an Italian Community and posted and ad. Naturally, I received a call who interviewed me straight Italian! Boy, was that nerve numbing.  That was an adventurous move, not to mention risky. That was a conversation for the sake of conversation.

Because I want to learn Italian, I also need to absorb a new vocabulary. Besides, it is valuable for my learning. I don’t need a whole lot of difficult words, just the ones I am not familiar with. Then put it to use.

Well, I admit that learning a new language is not an easy task to accomplish. Nobody said it was easy. But eventually, I feel in love with it. And moreover, I fell in love with its country and people.

Okay, next stop, Italia! I have to take this language to where it came from. I have more than the words passport, money, taxi, and police in my mind to use. Who knows what will happen to romantic Italy? I am in anticipation of who I will meet and the stories we are to tell to each other. But one thing is for sure, I am not about to post classified ads in Rome!
